Man Hurt in Early Morning Johnson Avenue Brawl
Detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate have launched a probe after a violent incident in Johnson Avenue on Sunday, 31 October 2021.
Police rushed to the scene just before 7am where one man was found injured and rushed to hospital. The two men involved knew each other, but the second suspect was missing when officers arrived.
Second Man Missing and Possibly Seriously Hurt
Witnesses say the missing man may have sustained serious injuries needing hospital treatment, but he hasn’t come forward yet. Police are worried for his welfare and are urging him and any witnesses to get in touch immediately.
One Arrested for Attempted Murder, Three Others Held
Following the altercation, one man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is still in custody. Meanwhile, three others—a woman in her 40s from Ashford and a man in his 30s and a woman in her 20s from Gillingham—were arrested for assisting an offender. They’ve since been released on bail until 25 November 2021.
