Chaos Erupts at Marble Arch Gym: Man Taserd After Erratic Behaviour
Drama unfolded at a North Row gym near Marble Arch early Tuesday morning. A man in his twenties reportedly went on a rampage, acting erratically and attempting to throw punches just after 8 a.m.
Taser Deployed, Man Suffers Head Injury
Police arrived swiftly and used a taser to subdue the aggressive youngster. During the scuffle, the man sustained a head injury and became unresponsive. Medics from the London Ambulance Service were called to the scene and rushed him to hospital.
“Shortly afterwards the man became unresponsive and was transported to hospital, where he remains; we await an assessment of his condition. The gym still has a scene going on. The Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards has been notified, as is customary,” a Met Police spokesperson explained.
Police Clamp Down and Crime Scene in Place
The area remains heavily guarded by police, with a crime scene set up inside the gym. The Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards is investigating the incident, keeping a close eye on the unfolding situation.
Eye-Witness Reports Air Ambulance at Marble Arch
An eye-witness told MyLondon, “Air ambulance just landed in Marble Arch, London, two police cars take the medics away.” They also mentioned rumours of a ‘naked man’ nearby, though this has yet to be confirmed by officials.
