Monster Groomed and Raped Girl Over Four Years – Now Jailed for 18 Years!

Father Figure Turned Predator

A 58-year-old man has been found guilty of a chilling string of offences against a young girl he began grooming when she was just two years old. He faced four charges of rape, four counts of sexual assault, and three counts of forcing or persuading a child to engage in sexual activity.

The pervert started dating the girl’s mother when the child was toddler-aged. Over a twisted four-year period, he abused and raped her, shattering her childhood.

Cold and Remorseless in Court

Prosecutor Silcott blasted the defendant for lying during his second trial and showing no remorse. He said, “He tried to twist the natural feelings of a 10-year-old for her mother’s partner into an evil plot to ruin his life.”

The victim, who remains unnamed to protect her identity, revealed the profound impact of the abuse. “I did not have a childhood,” she said. “After being happy young, I was left constantly depressed, hiding everything because of him.”

She now suffers panic attacks and has even contemplated suicide. The abuse has driven a wedge between her and her mother, whose own words hit hard: “I now realise I had been living with a monster for eight years.”

From Coach to Convict

Before his dark secret was exposed, the man had no criminal record and had even coached children in sports. But Judge Anthony Roger Abell wasn’t having it, stating:

“I’m quite satisfied you groomed her with innocent games, then escalated it into something unnatural, sinister, and just plain wrong. You knew exactly what you were doing.”

Justice Served: 18 Years Behind Bars

The court sentenced the abuser to 18 years in prison, with an extra year suspended. He must also sign the sex offenders register and comply with a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, ensuring he cannot harm children again.

This brutal case is a grim reminder that predators can lurk anywhere – even in those charged with care.
