A witness reported: “Up to 30 cop cars and around 70 to 80 officers showed up. It looked like a street fight broke out near the library, where groups of young men have gathered nightly since Ramadan started.”
He added: “It seemed a police officer was hit by someone who then ran away, chased by another officer.”
