Thief Targets Waitrose Three Times, Steals £1,500 in Booze and Gadgets
A daring crook hit a Waitrose in Sevenoaks High Street not once, but three times between August and December 2022. He made off with over £1,500 worth of booze, electronic toothbrushes, and food.

Not done yet, the suspect allegedly struck twice more but fled empty-handed after staff stepped in.
James Purnell Busted and Charged
Police finally caught up with the man on January 5, 2023. James Purnell, 39, from Oakfield Road, Penge, was charged with three counts of theft and five breaches of a criminal behaviour order.
He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on January 6 and was remanded for another hearing.
