Woman Raped in Maidstone Alleyway: Suspect Arrested
Kent Police’s Major Crime Unit is probing a chilling attack on Gabriel’s Hill in Maidstone. The incident happened in the early hours of Saturday 23 September 2023, between 4.15am and 4.30am.
Suspect Nabbed and Charged
A woman was allegedly raped by a stranger after entering an alley halfway up the hill. Less than a week later, at 1.40am on Saturday 30 September, officers arrested Hosam Mohammad Hassan from Lower Stone Street, Maidstone.
Hassan has now been charged with rape and was remanded in custody. He is due to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday 2 October.
