Officers were parked in their patrol car, in Dux Court Road, Rochester, at around 11pm on Friday 25 February 2022 when they became aware of a vehicle next to them.
They are then reported to have seen the driver recording them on his mobile phone whilst driving the van. The vehicle was subsequently pulled over and the driver is then alleged to have failed a roadside breath test.
Stuart Kerr, 48, of Caudron Way, Hoo, has since been charged with drink driving and using a phone whilst driving. He is due before Medway Magistrates’ Court on 23 March 2022.
