Three Teens Arrested Over Surrey Quays Stabbing
On Saturday, 17 October, police swooped and arrested three males aged 16, 17, and 20 on suspicion of Section 18 wounding with intent. All three were released on bail, set to return in mid-November.
17-Year-Old Charged and Remanded
Meanwhile, the 17-year-old involved was formally charged with wounding with intent. He was remanded in custody before being granted bail at bromley/" title="Bromley" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 19 October. He is due back at Bromley Youth Court on Thursday, 22 October.
Stabbing Incident at Surrey Quays Shopping Centre
The charges come after a serious stabbing at Surrey Quays Shopping Centre around 12:15pm on Friday, 16 October. An 18-year-old man was rushed to an east London hospital with stab wounds.
The victim’s injuries were thankfully not life-threatening, and he has since been discharged from hospital.
