Flash Arrest: Drug Dealer Nabbed in Aldershot Town Centre
Abisola Ajayi, 30, from Dean Road, London, was arrested during proactive patrols in Aldershot town centre on Sunday 7 April. Officers acted swiftly after linking a phone to suspected drug activity in the Municipal Gardens area, detaining Ajayi on the spot.
Police Raid Uncovers £11,000 Worth of Class A Drugs and Luxury Goods
A subsequent search of a Queens Road address revealed a large haul of Class A drugs, including crack cocaine and cocaine, valued at around £11,000. Police also seized offensive weapons, mobile phones, and £900 in cash.
Unsurprisingly, Ajayi’s stash included a trove of designer clothing from top brands like Louis Vuitton, Prada, Dior, and Moncler – a flashy lifestyle funded by crime.
Charged and Locked Up for Over Three Years
Ajayi faced multiple charges: three counts of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug, two counts of being concerned in such supply, possession of criminal property, and possession of a weapon capable of discharging noxious liquid or gas.
She pleaded guilty to all offences and was sentenced to 42 months in prison at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday 5 June.
Police Praise Sting Operation, Warn Drug Dealers
Trainee Detective Constable Jonathan Heasman said: “Abisola Ajayi was brazenly dealing drugs in Aldershot until our officers stopped her. The £11,000 worth of Class A drugs seized are now off the streets.”
“Her criminal lifestyle funded by drug supply is a warning to others. This conviction shows how seriously we take drug crime in the area.”
“Drug dealing brings harm and misery to communities, but our officers will keep hunting down criminals to make our streets safer.”
