Southampton Man Slapped with Multiple Sexual Assault Charges
Sohail Amiri, 30, from Highfield Lane, Southampton, is in hot water. He now faces several sexual assault charges after allegedly making unwanted advances toward women in two separate incidents.
Police Probe Two Separate Assault Claims
- On September 23, Amiri reportedly made lewd comments and inappropriate moves towards two women on Westwood Road.
- Then, in the early hours of November 25, a woman walking along Upper Shaftesbury Avenue says Amiri tried to force a kiss on her. She pushed him away and managed to escape.
Immigration Charges Stack Up
Adding to his legal troubles, Amiri—who claims Afghan nationality—is hit with an immigration offence under Section 24 of the Immigration Act 1971. He’s accused of entering the UK illegally.
