Drug Dealer Caught Running ‘Bully Line’ in Chatham
Police cracked down on a mobile phone used to flood Chatham with texts advertising heroin and cocaine. The investigation, which began in November 2021, quickly led to the man behind the operation: Mathys Ohoueu.
‘Bully Line’ Boss Busted in Lordswood
On January 13, 2022, officers raided Ohoueu’s Lordswood home with a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant. They found the 24-year-old in a bedroom clutching the phone sending the bulk texts. Alongside him lay about 40 grams of crack and heroin, street value over £4,000, plus electronic scales.
Four and a Half Years for London Man Running Medway Drug Ring
Ohoueu, from Waterfield Close, London, admitted supplying cocaine and heroin and possessing heroin with intent to supply. Maidstone Crown Court sentenced him to four years and six months in prison on June 13, 2022.
“This London dealer arrogantly thought he could remain free while wreaking havoc on the streets of Medway,” said PC Luke Murray of Kent Police’s County Lines and Gangs Team.
“His confidence was misplaced. Our tenacious investigators tracked his phone, uncovered his address, and swiftly brought him to justice.”
