First Ever Injection Spiking Reported at Portsmouth Nightclub

Shock as the first injection spiking case hits Portsmouth. The incident was reported at 2.11am on Friday at Pryzm nightclub on Stanhope Road, right in the city centre.

This comes amid a surge in spiking cases locally. Since July, police have logged 18 separate spiking reports across the area, but this is the first involving an injection in Portsmouth.

Victim Taken to Hospital After Pinprick Attack

Hampshire Police revealed an 18-year-old woman felt tenderness and numbness after spotting a small pinprick injury on her arm. Officers rushed to the scene, and she was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital as a precaution.

“It was reported to us that an 18-year-old woman had been assaulted at Pryzm Nightclub. The woman noticed a small injury consistent with a pinprick,” said Hampshire Police.

Ongoing Investigation and Call for Witnesses
