Armed Jewellers Raid Foiled in Minutes – Three Men Caged for 32 Years!

Three criminals have been locked up for a combined 32 years after their brazen armed raid on a Winchester jewellers was stopped dead in its tracks by quick-thinking Hampshire cops.

Raid Gone Wrong

David George, 21, from Hatfield, Domingo Nsita, 29, from London, and Joshua Tiloye, 22, from Stevenage, all pleaded guilty to robbing Justice Jewellers on Parchment Street.

The trio targeted the store on April 15, arriving in a white van. Tiloye and George jumped out wearing motorcycle helmets, bursting into the shop just as the owner was opening up.

Armed with an imitation gun, they threatened the owner and snatched thousands of pounds worth of valuables — but Hampshire officers were soon on the scene.

Swift Justice at Winchester Crown Court

At Winchester Crown Court, all three faced charges of robbery and possession of an imitation firearm. Sentences were handed down today:

  • David George: 10 years
  • Domingo Nsita: 12 years
  • Joshua Tiloye: 10 years

Each man also received five years for carrying an imitation firearm, to run concurrently with their main sentences.

Hampshire police praised their rapid response, which stopped the robbery in its tracks and brought the gang to justice.
