Man Held Over Chatham Stabbing in Attempted Murder Probe

Detectives have arrested a man on suspicion of attempted murder after a stabbing incident rocked Chatham town centre.

Serious Stabbing on High Street

Police were called to High Street at 5.57pm on Thursday, 28 June 2018. They found a man suffering from a stab wound. The victim was rushed to a London hospital and remains in a serious condition.

38-Year-Old Arrested in Chatham

On Tuesday 3 July, a 38-year-old local man was detained in the New Road area of Chatham. He is currently in custody as police continue their investigations.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate is urging anyone with information about the attack to come forward. Witnesses who have not yet spoken to officers can contact Kent Police on 01634 884010, quoting reference 28-1034.
