Huge Field Blaze Near Cobham Tackled by Kent Firefighters
Massive Fire Erupts on Church Road
Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) rushed to a large field fire that broke out just after 6.45pm this evening near Church Road, Cobham.
Major Firefighting Effort Underway
Fifteen fire engines, a bulk water carrier, four all-terrain vehicles, and a technical rescue unit battled the flames at the scene.
Fire Now Out, But Crews Stay Late
The fire has now been fully extinguished, but crews remain on site, checking for hotspots and damping down. They are expected to stay overnight to ensure the blaze doesn’t reignite.
