Essex Police Nab Speed Demon Doing 120mph on A130
A reckless driver was caught tearing down the A130 near Chelmsford at over 120mph on New Year’s Day. Essex Police’s road policing unit slammed the shocking speed as “unacceptable” and vowed to crack down hard.
Driver Caught Going Double the Speed Limit
The motorist, identity still under wraps, was pulled over after being clocked at roughly twice the legal limit. Essex Police confirmed the driver was stopped by officers patrolling Chelmsford and will now face the music in court.
“We caught the driver travelling more than 120 mph this morning on the #A130. No course or fixed penalty available. Reported and will be off to court,” Essex Police tweeted.
