A Burnley drug dealer has finally been locked up after being caught twice carrying heroin and crack cocaine.

Dealer Ditches Van in Police Chase

On 8 December last year, David Green, 41, was spotted on Plumbe Street driving a VW Caddy in the middle of a suspected drug deal. When police tried to stop him, he slammed the accelerator and fled the scene.

But cops searched his van and uncovered a stash of 12 knotted bags of crack cocaine and four of heroin. They also found two iPhones, with texts that clearly showed drug dealing activity.

Hiding in Loft – Police Nab Dealer After Massive Haul Found

Weeks later, on 27 January, officers tracked Green down at a property on Parklands View, Burnley. They forced entry and caught him hiding in the loft.

Green was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply, ending his run as a local narcotics peddler.
