Holly Willoughby Sticks With Dancing on Ice Despite This Morning Exit
Holly Willoughby is here to stay as host of Dancing on Ice, quashing rumours she’ll quit after leaving This Morning in October.
Stephen Mulhern Takes Over from Controversial Phillip Schofield
Phillip Schofield, Holly’s long-time co-host on both ITV shows, has bowed out of Dancing on Ice. His replacement? Stephen Mulhern, who’s set to bring fresh energy to the ice rink.
Schofield left This Morning amid scandal, admitting he hid an affair with a younger colleague. His exit from Dancing on Ice marks a new era for the beloved ITV show.
Star-Studded Lineup Returns Next Month
The show is back next month with a glittering cast including:
- Olympic gold medalist Greg Rutherford
- Actor Ryan Thomas
- Ex-1 DJs Adele Roberts
- Ex-boxing champ Ricky Hatton
- Pop icon Hannah Spearitt from S Club 7
Iconic Partnerships Back on Screen
Holly and Phillip co-hosted Dancing on Ice together since 2006, making them the heart of the show’s success. Now Holly teams up with Stephen Mulhern, her old pal from their kids’ TV days on Ministry of Mayhem, later known as Holly & Stephen’s Saturday Showdown.
Mulhern, currently fronting ITV’s Deal or No Deal, filled in for Schofield briefly in 2022 when Phil caught coronavirus.
ITV’s Katie Rawcliffe is buzzing: “Holly and Stephen are two of our best-loved presenters. It’s brilliant to see them team up again 20 years after they first worked together.”
Judges Lineup Set to Return
The epic judging panel—Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Ashley Banjo, and Oti Mabuse—will return to assess the stars on ice.
Holly’s This Morning Exit and Personal Troubles
Holly quit This Morning after 14 years for family reasons. Earlier this year, a terrifying plot emerged involving a man charged with soliciting to murder, linked to an alleged kidnap threat against the presenter, forcing her absence from the show.
