Petru Andries, 45, from Stodmarsh Road, Canterbury, has been slammed with a three-year driving ban. The sentence came down at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on 9 February 2022.

Over the Limit by a Mile

Andries admitted to driving while over the legal alcohol limit in Fordwich on 19 January 2022. Breath tests showed a staggering 92 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath – nearly triple the legal limit of 35.

  • £95 victim surcharge plus £85 court costs
