CCTV Released in Hunt for Canterbury Assault Witnesses
Brutal Attack Outside Seven Stars Inn
Kent Police have issued CCTV images of two men who could hold key info about a violent assault in Canterbury city centre.
The incident went down around 7.40pm on Saturday, 14 May 2022, outside the Seven Stars Inn on Orange Street. A group of men were involved in a disturbance, during which a man in his 30s was seriously attacked by two unknown suspects.
The victim suffered a severe head injury and was rushed to a London hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Police Urge Public for Help
After reviewing CCTV footage, detectives identified two men they believe can shed light on what happened. Officers are calling on anyone who recognises these individuals to come forward immediately.
They’re also eager to hear from witnesses who haven’t yet reported what they saw and to get hold of any video evidence showing the assault.
