Protester Throws Items at Nigel Farage During Campaign

Josh Greally, 28, from Chesterfield, has pleaded guilty to a public order offence after hurling objects at Reform UK leader Nigel Farage during a campaign event.

Incident Erupts in Barnsley Town Centre

The drama unfolded on July 11 in Barnsley, where Farage was addressing supporters from the top deck of his battle bus. Greally allegedly threw a coffee cup and another unidentified object at the politician. Luckily, Farage was unharmed as neither item made contact.

Greally Faces Court and Imminent Sentence

Following the incident, Greally was quickly arrested and brought before Barnsley Magistrates Court. He admitted the offence and awaits sentencing on August 28. This case adds another chapter to the ongoing tensions surrounding UK political campaigning.
