Child Shot in Shocking Upminster Incident – Man Also Injured

Detectives are on the hunt after a youngster was shot in Upminster on Friday night.

Gunfire Rocks Quiet Upminster Street

Police were scrambled to Kerry Drive at 9.30pm on 1 May following reports of a shooting. On arrival, officers found an 11-year-old boy with a gunshot wound and a man in his 40s with deep cuts to his head.

Victims Rushed to Hospital, Suspects Flee Scene

Both victims were injured inside the home and have been taken to hospital. It is still unclear if the man’s injuries were caused by the gunfire. Several suspects escaped before police arrived. A helicopter joined the search, but no arrests have been made yet.
