Brutal Machete Attack: Rapist Muhammed Rodwan Jailed for 16 Years
Muhammed Rodwan, a convicted rapist, has been locked up for 16 years after a savage machete attack on PC Stuart Outten. Though cleared of attempted murder yesterday, Rodwan couldn’t dodge a hefty prison sentence.
Judge Slams Rodwan’s ‘Brutal and Shocking’ Assault
Mrs Justice Carr didn’t hold back during sentencing. She described the attack as “brutal and shocking” and highlighted Rodwan’s shocking lack of remorse. The judge revealed Rodwan had arrogantly told officers that his own life mattered more than PC Outten’s.
Public Safety Takes Centre Stage
Warning that Rodwan remains a serious threat, Mrs Justice Carr stressed the need to protect the public. She said: “People have a right to be protected from those who carry and use knives.”
Rodwan now faces a long stretch behind bars for his violent crime against a frontline officer.
