Shaun Gannon Faces Serious Charges
Shaun Gannon, 68, from Crowhurst, was hauled before Hastings Magistrates’ Court on April 2. He stands accused of sexual offences against a girl under 13 known to him. The case forms part of a Sussex Police investigation that began in 2023.
Disturbing Allegations from Early 2020s
The alleged crimes allegedly happened in the early 2020s. Gannon faces three counts of sexual assault by touching and two counts of making indecent or pseudo-photographs of a child. The victim, whose identity is protected by law, has received specialist support from trained officers.
Next Court Hearing Scheduled
Gannon was granted bail and is set to appear at Sussex Crown Court on April 30 to answer the grim charges against him.
