Cyclist Critically Hurt in Dagenham Hit-and-Run
Police are hunting witnesses after a cyclist was left seriously injured in a crash on Valence Avenue, Dagenham. The smash happened around 10.24pm on Saturday, 10 August, at the junction with Green Lane.
Man in His 20s Rushed to Hospital
Emergency services rushed to the scene, and the cyclist – believed to be a man in his 20s – was rushed to an east London hospital. He remains in critical condition as officers work to notify his next of kin.
Driver Arrested on Dangerous Driving Charges
The driver of the car was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He is currently in police custody as the Serious Collision Investigation Unit digs deeper into the crash.
