Tragic Death on Aspen Way: Pedestrian Killed in Late-Night Crash
Police were called at 2:56am on Friday, 15 December after a car hit a pedestrian on Aspen Way, near Prestons Road, E14.
29-Year-Old Man Dies at Scene
Emergency crews rushed to the scene, but despite their best efforts, the 29-year-old man died instantly. His family have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers.
Driver Arrested for Dangerous Driving
The driver, a 23-year-old man behind the wheel of a white Audi RS Q3, stopped at the scene. He was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. The driver has been bailed to return in mid-March as investigations continue.
