Drugs Bust in Belvedere: Guns, Cocaine, and Three Arrested
Sniffer Dogs Sniff Out Cocaine on Picardy Road
On Wednesday 11 November 2020, police swooped on a car in Picardy Road, Belvedere, suspecting drug supply. Inside, officers found several wraps of what they believe is cocaine. The two men inside were immediately arrested.
Search Uncovers Firearms and More Arrests
Following the vehicle stop, cops raided a property on Ruskin Road, Belvedere. They discovered drug paraphernalia along with a pistol and ammunition. Another man was taken into custody.
Three Charged and Locked Up
- Keir Ratcliffe, 33, from Meopham, faces charges of firearm possession, ammunition possession without a licence, and conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
- John Murrell, 59, from Chatham, is charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
- Andrew Court, 55, from Belvedere, also charged with possession of a firearm, ammunition possession without a licence, and conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
All three remain in custody and are set to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday 13 November.
