Man Arrested After Brutal Head Injury Outside QPR Match

A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on Sunday, 21 November. He remains in police custody as investigations continue.

Serious Assault Near QPR Game

Just after 9.50pm on Friday, 19 November, officers patrolling after the Championship clash between QPR and Luton Town found a 52-year-old man with a serious head injury on Uxbridge Road, near Devonport Road, W12.

The victim, from the Luton area, was rushed to hospital by ambulance. He remains in a life-threatening condition. His family have been informed.

Police Hunt Witnesses and Footage

The Met’s Central West BCU detectives are appealing for anyone who saw trouble after the match or witnessed the assault to come forward. Mobile phone footage could be crucial evidence.
