Man stabbed in early hours horror on Hart Dyke Road
Brutal Attack Rocks Quiet Neighbourhood
Trouble erupted on Hart Dyke Road in the early hours of Saturday, 6 May 2023. Police rushed to the scene after reports of a stabbing. A man in his 20s was found with serious wounds and rushed to hospital, where he remains in stable condition.
Suspect Nabbed and Charged
Later that day, officers arrested 24-year-old Michael O’Callaghan from St James’ Lane, Greenhithe. He now faces a charge of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. O’Callaghan appeared at Maidstone Crown Court on Monday, 8 May and was remanded ahead of a hearing at Woolwich Crown Court set for 5 June.
Investigation Continues
A 26-year-old woman from Swanley was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender but has been bailed to return on 2 June. Police are still hunting for witnesses and dashcam or CCTV footage from around 4am on Hart Dyke Road.
