Two Teens Arrested Over Dagenham Stabbing and Shooting
Two 17-year-old boys were arrested in Ashford, Kent, on Friday 10 May on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
They were swiftly moved to London for questioning and later charged with the same offences.
Both have been remanded in custody and are set to appear in court on Monday, 13 May.
Man Found Critically Injured After Stabbing and Gunfire
Police rushed to Whalebone Lane South in Dagenham at around 5.20pm on Thursday 2 May after reports of a stabbing.
Moments later, a second call reported gunshots heard nearby.
Officers and paramedics discovered a 19-year-old man with stab wounds. At hospital, it was confirmed he had also been shot.
He remains in critical condition with next of kin informed.
Earlier Arrests and Ongoing Investigation
Previously, five men and a woman aged 18 to 25 were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder but have since been released on bail pending further inquiries.
The Met’s Specialist Crime Command (Trident) is leading the investigation.
