Teen Stabbed to Death After NW6 Street Brawl
Police rushed to Granville Road, NW6, just after 11.20pm on Friday, July 14, following reports of a violent street fight and a stabbing.
Officers and London Ambulance paramedics arrived quickly, but tragically, a 17-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene. His family have been informed.
Two Others Injured, Hospitalised
Another 17-year-old male was treated on site before being taken to hospital. A woman in her early 20s also received hospital treatment for a hand injury.
A post-mortem is scheduled, with formal identification still pending.
Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up
Detective Chief Inspector Mark Rogers said: “We believe this fight broke out after a birthday party attended by several people. Anyone who was there and hasn’t spoken to officers must come forward. It’s vital we find out exactly what happened.”
He added, “If you captured any footage of the incident on your phone, please get in touch.”
Specialist Crime Command detectives are leading the investigation. A crime scene remains in place, but no arrests have been made yet.
Community Left Reeling
Chief Superintendent Dan Knowles, head of North West Command Unit policing Brent, said: “The community will be shocked by the loss of such a young life. We are working hard with Specialist Crime to ensure a swift, thorough investigation.”
He confirmed increased police patrols in the area and urged locals to share any information or concerns.
