Serious Assault Outside Seven Stars Inn Shocks Town
A violent brawl broke out outside the Seven Stars Inn on Orange Street at around 7.40pm on Saturday, 14 May 2022.
Man in His 30s Suffered Serious Head Injury
During the disturbance, a man in his 30s was attacked by two unknown suspects. He suffered a serious head injury and was rushed to a London hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
Police Hunt Two White Men After Brutal Attack
Officers described the first suspect as a white man of large build, short brown hair, wearing glasses and a white polo shirt. The second is also white, slim, with short brown hair, and dressed in a navy blue polo shirt.
No arrests have been made yet. Police have spoken to multiple witnesses and are scouring CCTV footage from the scene.
Witnesses Urgently Needed
Authorities are calling on anyone who saw the incident or caught it on phone, dashcam, or private security cameras to come forward immediately.
