Murder Probe Launched After Fatal Stabbing on Barking Road
Police launched a murder investigation after a stabbing on Barking Road, E16 left a man dead. Officers were called at 3.56pm on Friday, 23 April, to find Fares suffering from serious stab wounds.
Despite emergency crews’ best efforts, Fares was pronounced dead shortly after 4.30pm.
Six Arrested in Leyton Raid
On Tuesday, 27 April, six men were arrested at an address in Leyton and taken into custody across East London.
One suspect faces charges of murder and possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs. The other five were arrested for assisting an offender and possession with intent to supply drugs.
Teen Suspects Held Over Knife Crime
Earlier, three boys aged 14 and 15 were arrested on Friday, 23 April. Two face murder charges, while the third is held in connection to the case. One teen has already been charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon, appearing at the Old Bailey on 28 April.
