Neasden Murder: Victim Named as Justin Bello

Detectives hunting a Neasden killer have named the victim as 38-year-old Justin Bello from Croydon. His family have been informed and released a heartfelt statement:

“So many lives have been destroyed by this senseless evil act which took Justin from us and we urge the public to come forward with any information they might have.”

Body Found in Neasden Communal Area

Officers were called to Lovett Way, NW10, at 8:10pm on Monday, 25 November after a body was discovered in a communal area behind the premises. Justin was pronounced dead at the scene.

The death was initially unexplained but is now being investigated as murder. A post-mortem took place on Thursday, 28 November at Northwick Park mortuary.

No Stab or Gunshot Wounds – Two Men Arrested

Police have not revealed the cause of death for operational reasons but confirmed it is not believed to be from stabbing or gunshots.

As part of the probe, a 41-year-old man was arrested in Norfolk on 29 November on suspicion of murder. He remains on bail until late December.

A second man, aged 48, was arrested in Cricklewood on 30 November, also on suspicion of murder. He too has been bailed to late December.

Additionally, a 47-year-old man was arrested on 5 December in Gipsy Hill, suspected of assisting an offender. He was later released on bail until early January.

Police Appeal for Information

Homicide detectives from the Specialist Crime Command, backed by the North West Command Unit, continue to investigate.
