Nottingham Arrest After Tragic Murder
A 29-year-old man was arrested at a Nottingham address on the evening of Friday, 23 December. He is suspected of murdering 44-year-old Andre Foster. The suspect was taken into police custody as officers launched a full murder probe.
Liban Ali Charged Over Fatal Stabbing
On Sunday, 25 December, Liban Ali, 29, was formally charged with murder. In addition, he faces further charges including possession of a bladed article. Ali is set to appear in custody at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 26 December.
Victim Found Dead After NW6 Stabbing
Police and London Ambulance were called to a residential address at Gable Lodge, Mowbray Road, NW6 at 9.55am on 20 December following reports of a stabbing. At the scene, Andre Foster was found with a fatal neck wound. Despite medics’ efforts, he was pronounced dead on the spot.
Next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers. A post-mortem at Northwick Park Mortuary on Thursday, 22 December confirmed the cause of death as a stab wound to the neck.
