Two Arrested in Brutal Murder Case
A 26-year-old man was arrested on Monday, 8 March, on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody at a south London police station. Meanwhile, 22-year-old Kamila Ahmad, from Mitcham, was charged with murder on Sunday, 7 March.
Victim Stabbed Multiple Times
The chilling incident unfolded on Wednesday, 3 March, when police were called to Alpha Road, Croydon, at 12:12pm following reports from the London Ambulance Service. Officers found 19-year-old Tai suffering from multiple knife wounds to his legs. Tragically, he was pronounced dead at the scene just five minutes later.
Legal Proceedings and Appeal for Witnesses
Kamila Ahmad appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on 8 March and is set to appear next at the Old Bailey on Wednesday, 10 March. Tai’s family has been informed and is receiving specialist support.
