Two Guns Seized After Dramatic Police Chase in London
The Met Police have swooped after a domestic assault probe led to the recovery of two loaded firearms and a man being charged with serious gun offences.
BMW Feds Hunted Tried to Dodge Cops
In the early hours of February 3, officers spotted a BMW linked to a suspect wanted over an assault on a woman in north-west London.
The driver tried to outrun police but during the high-speed chase a bag was thrown out in Plough Way, SE16. Two suspects then bolted on foot.
Loaded Firearms Found After Suspects Escape
Despite the getaway, cops recovered a loaded gun from the bag. A week later, a search at a Lewisham address uncovered a second loaded firearm.
Two men were arrested. The 24-year-old faces multiple firearms charges, including possession with intent to endanger life. The other, a man in his 50s, was bailed pending further inquiries.

The Metropolitan Police stressed their commitment to tackling gun crime and keeping communities safe. They urged anyone with info to come forward to aid ongoing investigations.
