Man Charged Over Brighton Hit-and-Run

A 19-year-old man has been charged and remanded in custody following a hit-and-run crash in Brighton last Wednesday, April 11.

Crash Details and Injuries

The incident happened on Widdicombe Way when a Ford Focus collided with a Volkswagen Sirocco. The Volkswagen driver fled the scene without stopping, leaving the Ford Focus driver with minor injuries.

All Charges Laid Against Harry Ford

Harry Ford, from St Aubyns, Hove, faces multiple charges including:

  • Failing to stop after a road accident
  • Dangerous driving
  • Driving without a licence
  • Driving without insurance
  • Assault by beating (linked to a separate February incident)

Ford remains in custody and is set to appear in court on May 17. Location details are yet to be confirmed.
