Three Seriously Hurt in Horror Head-On Crash on Kent’s Jury’s Gap Road
Police are hunting for witnesses after a nasty head-on smash on Jury’s Gap Road, between Camber and Lydd, left three people seriously injured.
Crash Details
The collision happened just before 8pm on Friday, 24 May. A black Porsche Boxster cabriolet heading east smashed into a white Skoda Yeti going west.
Casualties and Emergency Response
- The Porsche driver, a 36-year-old man, was airlifted to King’s College Hospital in London with severe abdominal injuries.
- A passenger in the Porsche, a 21-year-old woman with no fixed address, suffered serious ankle injuries and was taken to William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.
- The Skoda driver, a 65-year-old man from Camber, sustained serious pelvic injuries and was also rushed to William Harvey Hospital.
The road between Camber and Lydd was shut for eight hours as emergency crews worked at the scene.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Sussex Police have thanked motorists caught up in the disruption and urged anyone who saw the vehicles before the crash or witnessed the collision to come forward.
