Hythe Man Busted with Drugs, Tasers, and Knife After Police Stop

Steven Rimmer’s morning took a turn when Kent Police pulled over his vehicle in Brambley Crescent, Hythe, around 10:50am on Friday, 28 February 2020.

Class A Drugs and Two Tasers Found

Rimmer, 31, from Frampton Road, was first arrested on suspicion of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply. A search of a hotel room later uncovered two tasers. He now faces multiple charges:

  • Two counts of possessing weapons for electrical incapacitation
  • Possession with intent to supply class A drugs
  • Possession of cannabis
  • Possession of a knife in a public place

Court Appearance and Custody

Rimmer appeared before Canterbury Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 29 February. He was remanded in custody and is due back at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday, 30 March.
