Police Bust Huge Drug Deal Near Gillingham
Four men have been arrested after police stopped two cars carrying cannabis worth an eye-watering £31,500 on the M2 near Gillingham.
The vehicles were pulled over on the morning of Friday, 31 January 2020, following a suspected drug deal on Impton Lane, Chatham.
Serious Crime Unit Cracks Down on Cannabis Supply
Detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate launched an investigation that led to the four men being charged with cannabis supply and money laundering.
Who’s Been Charged?
- Ricky Phillip, 31, of Lambeth, South London
- James Howard, 40, of Gillingham – also charged with dangerous driving
- Endri Domi, 24, no fixed address
- Anthony Hills, 29, of Gillingham
Howard’s dangerous driving charge stems from the events that led to his arrest during the drug bust.
Court Dates and Bail Details
Phillip, Howard, and Hills have all been bailed to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Tuesday, 3 March.
Domi remains in custody and is due to appear on the same day.
