EastEnders star Lacey Turner has revealed the unforgettable moment her castmates “fell to their knees” when she dropped the baby bombshell. The beloved actress, famous for playing Stacey Slater, opened up about her pregnancy reveal on Giovanna Fletcher’s Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast.
Exhausted on Set – The First Sign
Lacey was filming intense court scenes involving Dinos when she suddenly felt wiped out. She told the podcast:
“I was literally falling asleep filming the court scenes. My head was on the table. The director must have thought, ‘What’s going on?’ because I’m usually buzzing – always on the move.”
Her co-stars noticed something was off, but Lacey kept quiet. It wasn’t until she was with her close-knit gang, known as The Six, that she finally spilled the secret.
The Epic Pregnancy Reveal
In a cosy moment inside the Winnebago, surrounded by her castmates, Lacey dropped the news:
“I was in a room full of blokes who had no clue, then I was with the six women, The Six. They asked, ‘How are you feeling?’ and I said, ‘I’m actually pregnant.’ They all basically fell to their knees.”
The reaction was electric. These were the first people she told, and their joyful shock hit Lacey right in the feels.
Cast in Celebration Mode
Lacey reflected on the emotional moment with a laugh:
“They must have been thinking, ‘Why keeps falling asleep everywhere?’ Normally, I’d pop off to my dressing room, but I had nowhere to hide – stuck in the Winnebago, all eyes on me.”
The cast’s warm and excited response made the announcement even more special.
Baby Number Three Joins the Family
Earlier this year, Lacey welcomed her third child and shared a sweet Instagram snap of her little tribe, captioned:
“Aren’t we lucky?”
Fans and co-stars flooded the comments with congratulations, celebrating Lacey’s growing family.
