Family Pleads for Answers Four Months After Barking Dad’s Fatal Shooting

The family of Hanif Redwood, a 32-year-old father of two, is desperate for information after he was fatally shot outside a birthday party in Barking—four months ago today.

Innocent Bystander Gunned Down Outside Factory 15

Hanif was caught in the crossfire outside Factory 15 on Linton Road in the early hours of Sunday, October 13, 2024. He was shot at around 4:33 AM and tragically died at the scene, leaving a grieving family shattered.

Despite several arrests, no one has been charged with Hanif’s murder yet, and his family is urging witnesses to come forward.

Family’s Heartbreaking Plea: “Help Us Get Justice”

“Hanif was an innocent, hardworking, and loving father of two. It is heartbreaking to think that he has been taken away from us,” the family said.

“As his family, we are imploring anyone with information to make their voices heard and help us get justice for our beloved Hanif.”

“If you know something or saw anything that night, please come forward. Even the smallest detail could be crucial.”

Detectives Still Hunting for Key Witnesses

Detective Chief Inspector Mark Rogers, leading the case, said:

“Hanif was an innocent man. His death has devastated his family, friends, and the local community.”

“We’ve made progress but still need crucial information to bring those responsible to justice.”

“Were you at Factory 15 that night or nearby? Did you see or hear anything unusual? No detail is too small.”

Arrests Made but No Charges Yet

So far, two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder but have been released on bail. Seven others have also been arrested and are either bailed or released pending further inquiries.

Police continue house-to-house checks and CCTV reviews as they hunt for more clues.
