Norwich Man Jailed Over Brutal Sexual Assault
A 29-year-old from Norwich has been locked up for over eight years after a chilling sexual assault case.
Reece Larkin Found Guilty
Reece Larkin, from Humbleyard, faced Norwich Crown Court on June 23, 2022. He was convicted of rape and sexual assault, following a previous hearing.
Horrific Crime in the Early Hours
The victim, a woman in her late teens, had fallen asleep at Larkin’s home on September 15, 2019. She woke to find Larkin assaulting her before committing rape.
Justice Served: Harsh Sentence and Lifetime Register
Larkin was sentenced to eight years and six months behind bars. He must also sign the sex offenders register for life.
“I hope yesterday’s sentence will reassure victims that reports of rape and sexual assault are taken seriously,” said investigating officer DC Jordan Bulmer.
“We will always conduct thorough investigations and hold offenders to account. I commend the victim’s bravery in speaking out about this traumatic ordeal.”
