Four Men Charged Over Teen Rape in Bristol
Four males are in custody after the shocking rape of a teenage girl in Bristol. The attack allegedly took place inside a home in the St Werburghs area.
The Accused: Who’s Facing Charges?
- A 20-year-old man (name withheld) faces two counts of rape and charges for arranging or facilitating a female’s travel for exploitation.
- Salman Habibkheil, 18, from Lockleaze, identified as Afghan and “Any other Black background,” charged with rape and facilitating travel for exploitation.
- Awal Amadzai, 18, from Redcliffe, Afghan and “Any other Asian background,” charged with rape and sexual assault.
- A 16-year-old boy, unnamed due to age, charged with rape.
Police Crack Down With Swift Arrests
The terrifying incident came to light on Sunday, 30 November, after police were alerted about the attack the night before. Two 16-year-old boys were arrested initially—one was released on police bail, the other rearrested on 4 December.
Three men were arrested last week under Operation Bluestone, a dedicated task force targeting rape and serious sexual offences.
Court Dates Set for Brutal Bristol Case
All four charged men appeared at Bristol Magistrates’ Court on 6 December. They have been remanded and are due to stand trial at Bristol Crown Court on 7 January.
