Murder Probe Launched After Woman Found Dead in West London Flat
Police Rush to Scene After Forced Entry Reports
Officers from the Metropolitan Police were called to a flat on Coulter Road at 10:13 p.m. on Sunday, February 9. Reports said a man was trying to break into the property.
When police entered the flat, they found a 36-year-old woman with a serious head injury. Tragically, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
38-Year-Old Man Arrested on Murder Suspicion
A 38-year-old man was arrested at the scene, suspected of murder. He is currently in police custody.
The victim’s next of kin have not yet been informed. Formal identification is underway, with a post-mortem due shortly to establish the exact cause of death.
Detectives Urge Witnesses to Speak Out
“We are deeply saddened by this tragic loss and are working to support the victim’s family,” said Detective Chief Inspector Ollie Stride, leading the investigation. “We understand this will have shocked the community. Although a suspect is in custody, we need to understand what happened on Coulter Road last Sunday.”
