A 26-year-old asylum seeker has been locked up for sexually assaulting a vulnerable, suicidal mother in Hull. In a shocking early-morning attack, Zayed Alanzi forced an unwanted kiss on the distressed woman, even pushing his tongue into her mouth.
Disturbing Incident at Hull’s Royal Hotel
Alanzi, who was living at the Royal Hotel—a known asylum seeker accommodation site in Hull—followed the woman before grabbing her cheeks and forcing the kiss. The victim, battling suicidal thoughts, fought him off and later told police she feared he might target a teenage girl next.
Alanzi Denies Assault, Faces Possible Deportation
In court, Alanzi claimed the kiss was consensual. Despite his defence, he was sentenced to prison time and ordered to pay £187 in costs. Reports suggest he could be deported after serving just half of his sentence.
