Police Hunt E-Scooter Creeper Preying on Hackney Marshes

Detectives have issued images of a man wanted over a string of chilling sexual assaults in Hackney Marshes. The suspect is believed to be targeting lone women while riding an e-scooter, making the local area tense and uneasy.

Ten Attacks Since March: Suspect Flees on E-Scooter

The Met Police have logged at least 10 sexual assault reports between March and August 7, with the latest attack fresh in the public mind. In every incident, the man reportedly approaches victims on an e-scooter, gropes them over clothing, then zooms off.

Official Plea: Stay Alert and Help Catch the Predator

Detective Constable Lucy Dunwell from Hackney CID said, “We understand the fear and concern this has caused locally. We’re working tirelessly to catch the man responsible.” She confirmed that police are teaming up with Hackney Council to boost patrols around the marshes.

“Anyone walking, running or visiting Hackney Marshes should keep phones charged and stay alert. If anything feels wrong, dial 999 immediately,” urged DC Dunwell.
