Police Hunt Trio After Cat Mauling Shocker in South Yorkshire
South Yorkshire Police have released CCTV footage of three men linked to a horrific cat attack in Darfield. They are urging the public to come forward with any information to aid their probe.
Cat Loki Mauled as Dogs Let Loose in Victim’s Garden
The shocking attack happened around 9.20pm on Wednesday, 5 April on West Street, Darfield. Witnesses spotted three men walking three dogs on leads. But as they neared a garden gate, two men suddenly unleashed their dogs, letting them loose inside.
Tragically, the two dogs savaged the unsuspecting cat named Loki. The men then fled with the third dog, leaving a heartbroken owner to discover the brutal aftermath. Sadly, Loki later died from the injuries inflicted.
Police Plead for Tips to Track Down Suspects
Officers say the CCTV images of the trio could be key to cracking the case. A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We are deeply disturbed by the callousness and cruelty exhibited in this incident. Our officers are working tirelessly to identify these men and bring them to justice. We implore anyone who recognises them or has any relevant information to come forward immediately.”
