Mubarik Ali, 42, from Baron Street, Stoke-on-Trent, was slapped with a three-year prison sentence at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on Friday, May 27. He admitted to two serious charges: possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possession of criminal property.
Police Find Drugs During Stop and Search
On January 26, 2022, cops stopped a Volkswagen Passat on Baron Street. A search turned up two mobile phones, cash, and a stash of Class A drugs.
Raid Uncovers Huge Cocaine Jackpot
Less than an hour later, officers raided Ali’s home. They uncovered a massive haul of cocaine valued between £49,000 and £62,000, plus nearly £20,000 in cash.
Police Praise the Big Bust
Detective Sergeant Marc Proctor from Staffordshire Police said, “Officers were very happy to find such a large amount of Class A drugs. I’m glad we were able to get these medicines.”
Ali was arrested, charged, and admitted all offences before his sentence.
